BILLFISHER is a superb state of the art high speed gamefishing vessel. Recently purchased by the Hunter boys she is designed from the keel up to catch fish. She is fully equipped with everything to make your trip that little more comfortable.

Items such as her open walk around cabin layout with openness ensuring anglers' protection from weather but allowing excellent vision. Her spacious galley inc, micro wave, bench top and coffee making facilities makes fishing on board just that bit more pleasurable.

A fully enclosed electric toilet and shower facility are also part of this fishing thoroughbred's features.

STATISTICS
BILLFISHER is a 40 foot Cairns Custom craft powered by twin turbo Cummins diesels which give her a cruise speed of 25 knots, ensuring a quick trip to the grounds. Her twin station controls both at the tuna tower and below make her a true fishing machine. The electronics are the latest in technology including GPS, sounder VHF, HF and CB radios and autopilot.

The CD sound system adds to a little light entertainment on the Bluewater. She is in survey for 14 people. The vessels sea keeping will impress even the most critical.

BILLFISHER has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best and most efficient fish catching machines on the east coast.

THE ARMOURY
It is not only gamefish that the Hunters are famous for, you don't fish all your life and not learn a bit about how to catch a snapper, kingie or flathead. The boat is set up with every conceivable Shimano rod and reel you could ever want, ranging from heavy tackle marlin gear, short stroker tuna rods to the more delicate snapper rods.

The boys have been factory assisted by Australia's leading tackle manufacture Shimano since the introduction of their fishing tackle to Australia and in many situations test some of the new products.

Skippered by Captain Glenn Hunter means you are fishing with one of the most respected Captains around. Glenn has been a fisherman all his life following in the Hunter family tradition of three generations.

He has followed in the footsteps of his father Ross and has learnt well from his Dad's lifetime of fishing.
